Many companies spend an abundance of time and money on the décor of their office. They see the style and finishes in their office as a direct reflection of their success as a company. We’ve had several companies come to us with a recycling dilemma; they want to include recycling bins in their buildings, but don’t want to sacrifice the style of their office. We’re excited to have come up with a solution to their problem: The Aristata Series of recycling containers.
As part of Vermont’s larger effort to reduce its carbon footprint, this week Burlington, Vermont, announced that 100% of its electricity is now renewable. Renewable energy means that the energy fueling the small city comes from sources such as water, wind, and biomass.
Recycled materials are entering the manufacturing supply chain at a robust rate and demand is growing. Everywhere from packaging to clothing, paper to rubber, you are likely to turn around and find products that are using some form of recycled materials. And, while recycling rates are leveling off, use of recycled materials continues to grow.

On May 10th and 11th, 2014, I grabbed my camera and family and headed to the city of Albany, New York to attend the 66th annual Tulip Festival. With dozens of food vendors and multiple concert stages, attendees stay all day and into the evening. Imagine the waste management effort involved.
